Privacy policy
This policy explains how the Sentinel website handles personal data. Sentinel is still in development and nothing is for sale yet.

What we collect
- Server logs. Our hosting provider ([hosting provider]) automatically records your IP address, the time, the page requested and your browser type when you load the site. We use this to deliver and secure the site (legitimate interests, GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)). Logs are kept for [log retention period].
- Login. Only authorized people have a login. The username and password you type are checked inside your browser against a one-way hash. They are not sent to or stored on a server by us. If you log in, your browser keeps a small "logged in" marker: in session storage, or in local storage if you tick "Keep me logged in on this device". Logging out removes it.
We do not use analytics, advertising, tracking or fingerprinting, and the site has no contact form, newsletter or social media widgets.
Third parties
The site can load its typeface (Inter) from Google Fonts, a service run by Google, but only if you accept this in the cookie dialog. If you do, Google receives your IP address and browser details when your browser fetches the font. Our legal basis is your consent, which you can change at any time with "Cookie settings" in the footer of the home page. Google may process data outside the EU/EEA, see policies.google.com/privacy. If you decline, nothing is requested from Google. The site loads no other third-party scripts, trackers or embeds. Our hosting provider processes server logs on our behalf. Whether data leaves the EU/EEA depends on that provider: [state hosting location and any transfer safeguards].
Children
The site is not directed at children. The age at which a person can consent to online services on their own is between 13 and 16 in the EU depending on the country, so we apply 16: if you are younger, please use the login only with your parent or guardian's permission. The login form asks you to confirm this. We do not store your answer, we do not ask for your age or date of birth, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you think a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction, a portable copy, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact us at [contact email]. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY, imy.se) or to your local data protection authority.

If we change this policy we will update the date above.
